and selling needs of the consumer! We are a group of professionals who have made a
decision to specialize in the real estate industry.
It used to be that the seller in a real estate transaction was the only
party who had representation . The real estate agent who listed the seller's
property for sale owed fiduciary duties to the seller, thereby protecting
his interest only. If another real estate agent brought a buyer to the
closing table, the seller was still represented by that agent unbeknownst
to the buyer who thought all along that the agent was working for him.
Then, you have the closing attorney who always represents the lender.
Who was looking out for the buyer? The answer was "no one."
The focus of our firm is to fairly represent buyers and sellers-- not
uncommon in theory. You will never have just one of our agents represent you
on both sides of a transaction without full acknowledgement by you. More
plainly, Agents Around Atlanta does not practice dual agency. We prefer to
maintain separate and exclusive agent representation of buyer and seller.
This method of real estate has proven successful for us resulting in repeat
clients and referrals.
